Becoming a parent is the most AMAZING experience I've ever walked through and I'm honored to be a part of your story! I have been a photographer for eight years now and am confident I can document your child's birth in a beautiful way. It is so important to click with your birth photographer as this is the most intimate moment of your life. I will be there to document you being a warrior and be your friend through it all. For a maternity session, we will start off with a posed picture and then I will help direct you into natural, lifestyle pictures. My goal is to truly make your gallery one-of-a-kind. You deserve to have images you can look back on and connect them to cherished memories! I also have a client closet and offer wardrobe guidance to make things easy on you.
For birth sessions, I will be as involved as you would like me to be. I can stay behind the camera, hold your hand during contractions or play The Office on my computer to help you relax. I am here to make your birth story better!
MATERNITY Session
I'm a big fan of maternity sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give us the opportunity to get to know each other better prior to your session. This can really help your significant other also feel better about having a "stranger" in the room during your child's birth! If your significant other is on the fence about birth photography, remind them that everyone in the room can be a "stranger". ;) But allowing me to be there will allow you both to look back and remember details you might otherwise not remember!
I use Style and Select to help you with wardrobe and can travel anywhere in a 30 mile radius without travel fees!
Photo Delivery
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within eight weeks of your child's birth! At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums if you want.
I hope the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs! I want to hear about your adventures with motherhood! Whether it be adding (more) children into the mix, celebrating an anniversary or wanting to capture the love in your family a little further down the road. I would also love for you to be a part of my Keely Askew Families group on Facebook so you can have a fun and safe space to talk with other moms :)

BIRTH

It takes time for most couples to feel comfortable hiring a birth photographer. It's such a highly personal experience and I understand how important this day is for you! I never even attempted birth photos of my firstorn because I was so nervous to have someone in the room I didn't know. I wish I had hired someone now because those pictures would be absolutely amazing to have.
I would love to video chat over a cup of coffee so you can feel absolutely confident in your decision before booking.
ALBUMS
One of the best ways to make your memories last is by ordering
an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a
variety of linen & leather colors.
These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in.
They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on coffee tables.
All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take
between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revision. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the day of the session!

We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?
YAY! To reserve your date, we’ll need a completed contract and a $250 non-refundable retainer. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due three weeks prior to due date.
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
The amount of images received depends on the package purchased. Additional images can typically be purchased for your newborn and maternity sessions. For your child's birth, I deliver all usable images to you! I believe you should have many images to remember such an important moment! Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere.
When do you charge travel fees?
I typically add travel fees on to most sessions outside of a 30 mile radius from my home in Lynchburg, Virginia. Fees vary depending on location so ask us for more details!
